CFN ENTERS CANADA WITH CHEVRON CANADA

South San Francisco, CA, CFN (Commercial Fueling Network) announced Chevron Canada has signed with CFN opening up 40 sites in British Columbia and Alberta. The addition of Chevron Canada affirms CFN as the network of choice in the United States and bordering countries.

"It was important to both Chevron Canada and CFN that we followed the correct course in establishing this partnership", states Jeff Zajas, Vice President of Sales for CFN. "We received a tax ruling from the CCRA (Canadian Customs Revenue Agency) to ensure CFN is following proper Canadian guidelines. Our goal is to offer the same reliability and technology in Canada that has set CFN apart from the competition in the United States and established us as the information network."

Currently, CFN offers 24x7 access to petroleum products throughout the United States. CFN is a total fuel management system that presents fleet operators the ability to control their fleet and tailor their fueling requirements to their specifications. This online system provides enhanced controls including immediate lockout of invalid cards, time and day of week fueling restrictions, velocity controls, enhanced product restrictions, exceptional reporting, and Internet access to their fueling information 24x7. From their office or remote location, customers can view transactions seconds after they occur and have the ability to validate and invalidate fueling cards as necessary. These features and controls significantly reduce administrative costs and the misappropriation of fuel providing total fuel management.

"We are excited about our new strategic partnership with CFN", said Lynn Rogers, Chevron’s Manager of Wholesale Marketing. "This opportunity allows Chevron’s customers to have the convenient choice of one card for all their diesel fuel purchases in Canada and the US. In addition, members of the CFN network will now have access to Chevron’s well located, high quality facilities in BC and Alberta."

Chevron Canada Limited, a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation is headquarted in Vancouver, BC. Chevron Canada is a fully integrated company with a refinery and marketing facilities for both retail and commercial customers. Chevron Canada has a network of 40 commercial cardlock facilities in British Columbia and Alberta.

"With Chevron Canada as the anchor tenant and prototype for our Canadian network we anticipate signing several Canadian companies to enhance the coverage," states Jeff Zajas. "We welcome this opportunity and look forward to furthering our business relationships in Canada by offering a network that understands and meets the needs of Petroleum Distributors."
