Signage and Posting
All CFNnet sites must have two 3 x 2 CFNnet double sided metal I.D. signs visibly displayed. Participants will obtain signs at time of site approval at the current rate. CFN Price Sign List can be found in your Net Pak.
CFNnet locations will be incorporated into the CFN Location Listing and Map and Service Directory and will be differentiated from CFN stand-alone cardlock facilities. On the Location Listing, CFNnet sites will be distinguished from CFN sites by a font color change. In the Map and Service Directory, CFNnet sites will be shaded for customers convenience.
Transaction Liability
Because of limitations of Point of Sale devices and related dispensing equipment, the manual entry of transactional data and activation of dispensers is necessary. With these limitations, an error or disputed transaction may occasionally occur.
Invalid Card
CFN recommends that cards be pre-approved before fueling begins. The liability for transactions involving an invalid card rests with the site operator. If the holder of an invalid card receives fuel and the CFN Authorization Host rejects the transaction, the attendant must find an alternative form of payment or call the card issuer for approval.
Incorrect Quantity Tranz 380 Application
Once fueling has been completed, the cardholder will be prompted by the PIN Pad to confirm the quantity. Following final confirmation of the quantity and the receipt signed by the cardholder, the transaction will be passed to the Host and processed. The POS network receipt should be attached to the console receipt for verification of product and quantity. If the product or quantity is not correct, the transaction can be deleted.
Incorrect Quantity Ruby Application
The Ruby System will automatically pass the transaction quantity to the CFN Host.
Maximum Quantity Limit
The gallonage limit encoded on the card cannot be controlled at CFNnet locations.
