Late Notification of Missing Transactions

 

If you find a transaction for which you have not received credit and you notify CFN after the 30-day limit, CFN cannot immediately give you credit. Once CFN receives the late notice, it is the foreign Participant’s responsibility to obtain the card issuer’s approval to process the over 30 day transaction. If the Participant accepts the late transaction, an email confirmation is required from the card issuer.  CFN will process the transaction as long as it is less than 90 days old. Otherwise, you are responsible for the transaction.

 

Be aware that the other card issuer is under no obligation to accept the transaction.
