Site Registration

All sites that accept the CFN card must be approved by CFN prior to site startup. The approval process is a formalized procedure to help ensure that all sites adhere to CFN specifications for the benefit of the entire network.

When you are interested in opening a new site, you should first obtain a Site Registration package available to all CFN Participants on www.cfnnet.com under Membership. The Site Proposal and Registration form shows the site specifics.  Along with the Site Proposal and Registration Form, you will also complete a Photo Reference Sheet and Site Location Information Sheet, which helps CFN develop the maps that go into the Map and Service Directory. The Map and Service Directory is published quarterly.  If you qualify for Premier Status the Premier Site Status Request form must be submitted with your Site Registration Package.  All forms must be complete and a check for the required fees must accompany the Site Registration Package prior to consideration for approval by the Site Selection Committee.   The complete package is then submitted to the Site Transition Coordinator. The Site Transition Coordinator prepares the file for presentation and approval by the Site Selection Committee.  The Site Selection Committee meets twice a month.

CFN recommends written confirmation of site approval before ordering equipment if network access is critical.  The CFN Selection Committee, at its sole discretion, approves sites that in its judgment will serve the best interests of the CFN Network.  In determining whether to approve or deny a proposed site, criteria such as, but not limited to, proximity of the location to existing CFN sites, established traffic routes, concentration of industrial/commercial businesses in the area and products and services available at the site. A Participant’s sales organization and general business acumen are also relevant factors.  To better serve the CFN card holder, sites proposed that maintain a higher standard of operation, image and/or offering of products and services may be considered for network approval regardless of proximity to existing network sites.  Sites may be re-submitted sites for approval if updated or additional information is available or local conditions have changed since first reviewed.  CFN reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for re-submitted site proposals.

Note:

The approval process is the same for all sites, network, ghost, and private. It is a violation of your Mutual Access Agreement to operate a site that accepts a CFN card if that site has not been approved by CFN. Enforcement of this policy is rigorous.
