Standards of Operations
Participants are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of their sites. The following are requirements, guidelines and recommendations for all network sites.
Equipment
Participant shall install at Participant expense equipment upgrades and updates to software programs as provided by CFN or equipment vendor from time to time after such update is available to Participant.
Site equipment must be kept in good condition operating at designed performance levels.
Participant shall only utilize CFN authorized forms of communication such as land line, satellite, and internet.
Reliable communication must be maintained by Participant to insure minimum local authorizations and acceptable authorization response time.
Site Characteristics
Sites must be clean and free of any debris that might create an unsafe fueling environment.
Surfaces must be smooth without cracks, separations, holes or other obstructions that might restrict site ingress and egress or damage vehicles.
Safety equipment such as fire extinguishers and emergence shut-off switches should be clearly identified.
Signage
Minimum of two 2’X 3’double sided aluminum signs acquired from CFN. Participants may substitute purchase illuminated signs from CFN.
Alternative custom designed signage must be approved by CFN.
Signs to be visible to traffic from all directions.
Note:
CFN is not liable whatsoever for damage, injury or issues resulting from Participant’s operations or granting access to CFN sites.
Sites not compliant with CFN specifications or policy are subject to site status reclassification or removal from the network upon written notice from CFN.
