Commercial Fueling Network (CFN) Adds UFA As A Canadian Participant

South San Francisco, CA— Commercial Fueling Network (CFN) has signed United Farmers of Alberta (UFA) as a new Canadian participant, adding more than 100 Alberta, B. C. and Saskatchewan cardlock sites to its Canadian network.

“The addition of UFA in Canada reinforces CFN’s position as the fuelling network of choice in the United States and bordering countries,” said Jeff Zajas, Chief Operating Officer for CFN, in making the announcement. “Our goal is to offer the same reliability and technology in Canada that has set CFN apart from the competition in the U. S.”

In November, 2001 CFN entered Canada by adding 39 Chevron sites in B. C. and Alberta. Adding UFA to its Canadian partners increases network cardlocks to some 140 locations across western Canada.

“For UFA, this agreement establishes a significant, new strategic partnership with CFN,” said Dave Kowal, UFA’s Vice President Petroleum. “Our members and customers will now be able to fuel at Chevron facilities in B. C. and at more than 2,800 CFN-participant facilities in continental U. S., using a single card, generating one statement and making one payment.”

“Joining CFN has significantly expanded our service and product offering to UFA’s members and commercial fuel customers,” explained Jeff Urquhart, UFA Director of Sales and Marketing.

“CFN welcomes the opportunity to expand our service and location offerings across western Canada through the addition of UFA,” Jeff Zajas said. “CFN will continue to further its business relationships in Canada by offering a network that understands and meets the needs of petroleum distributors.”

UFA Joins CFN in Canada
