A Traditional
Single Card uses the one-card system. This means that one card
will activate the pump at the card reader.
To add a new Traditional
Single card to an account: |
From The Account
Management Screen, select an account number from the Account
column. This is the account you will be adding a card into.
Note: If
the account does not exist, you must first add the account.
This displays the Card
Management Screen, which is a list of all the cards in
one account. From here, select the Add Single Card
button.
This displays the Single
Card Add screen. Fill in all the fields. (Some fields
have default values already in them. You may leave or change
these values.)
Note: If
a Template was created you may use them to populate the fields
otherwise follow each field and populate them manually.

DID
Number: If you do not enter a 4-digit custom DID number
here, the system will generate one for you.
Products
(card): Select a CFN Authorization Combination Code from
the provided list to restrict the products that can be purchased
with this card. Any change to this field will generate a new
card.
Custom
(Host): Use this link to select the products this card
will authorize. This change is effective immediately and does
not require a new card to be made. (See ‘Host
Controlled Products’ for more information.)
Card
Status “Dual Network Card”: For a Traditional
card Do not check
this Box as it will create a FleetWide card.
Emboss
Line 1: Defaults to the account name.
Time
Profile: Select one of the time profiles you’ve
created to restrict the times of days and days of week this
card will allow fueling.
Emboss
Line 2: Usually the driver name.
Vehicle
Number: Tracks vehicle number on a one-card system.
Per
Fill Limit (card): Select a CFN Limit Code to restrict
the number of gallons that this card will allow per transaction.
Custom
(host): Enter in any per fill limit you want. This change
is effective immediately and does not require a new card to
be made. (See ‘Host
Controlled Limits’ for more information.)
Expiration
Date: Can be set globally in card templates.
C-Store
OK: ‘Yes’ means that this card will be able to be used
at CFNnet sites.
Manual
Entry: Select a CFN Manual Entry Code to determine what
the card reader will prompt the driver for. A manual entry
number can be used to sort drivers on different jobs.
Edit
Templates: If you have already created card templates,
you may select one to populate the fields in this form, and
quickly create a new card. Select the link to edit those templates.
Reason
Code: Used to track card history. Select a CFN Reason
Code when modifying a card.
Requested
By: Name of the authorized person at the account, who
requested the modification.
New
Cards Added: Tracks how many cards have been added to
the account since you’ve been on this screen.
Select the Save
button to save the card.
Once the data has been
successfully saved, the procedure is done.
Note: To quickly add another card
to the account, first make changes to any field if necessary,
and select the Add Next button. This will also increment the number
in the New Cards Added field. |
